Photo TOP fest "FotoTop 2024 Man and the City. Myth and reality."
Two-day art photography festival on September 7-8 as part of a photography exhibition from September 2 to October 10, 2024.
Photographic projects and series exploring the theme are accepted for consideration until August 10.
If you have material ready, send it now, consult with the curator. Starting June 1, works will be accepted for review.
The theme "Man and the City" is quite broad: landscapes and architectural elements, portraits and reportages, plus all sorts of fantasies within the content and experiments with presentation.
By "Myth", it is meant the creation during shooting, on the computer, in the lab, or in some other way of an "other" or altered space.
By "Reality", it refers to creations with minimal intervention.
"In fact, we are talking about the humanized nature, the artificial environment around the person, both around him and inside his consciousness."
Preference is given to new projects with a strong artistic formal component.
The main goal of FotoTop is to showcase projects of contemporary authors, both Russian and international, to a wide Russian audience.
Where is the festival and exhibition taking place? The festival and exhibition are held at the "Gallery of Classic Photography."
2 days of the festival (September 7, 8) + a month-long exhibition (September 2 - October 10).

The festival includes photographers from Russia and other countries.
Exhibition of photo projects and series + presentation of photographers' portfolios and books
The best projects selected by the curator are displayed on the walls of the GKf.
